A Big and Impressive LEGO Friends Luxury Boat!
Our daughter loves LEGO Friends. She first saw them at a friends house and was instantly obsessed with them. We purchased the "Olivia's Tree House" Set for her for Christmas and it was a big hit. Since then, we have purchased several additional sets for her collection.
The LEGO Friends Dolphin Cruiser Play Set comes with a big 612 pieces. It includes two girl characters (Mia and Maya) and one boy character (Andrew). It comes with everything you could imagine for a boat trip. It has large yacht type boat that has a top that lifts off so you can play with your characters in the inside living areas (living room with an L-shaped couch, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with two beds). The boat has several features like deck chairs, a water slide, a captains area on the top for driving the boat and a wave runner with a ski rope and skis for the characters to use. It also comes with lots of little accessories for drinks and snacks, music equipment, two dolphins and some fish to feed...
Cool Legos Project
If your kid loves Legos and you do too, and you both have some time, either a hot desert summer or a cold winter, the Dolphin Cruiser will keep you busy.
Definitely for older kids, and if you have little ones under seven, there is lots of small parts (612 pieces in all), so be careful.
My favorite part is my niece named the two dolphins Dee-Dee and Donnie, and I often find them outside in the pool. I taped over the blowholes so that they float!
The boat is a little over a foot long, and it's tricked out, little blenders, a slide, a little shower, snack bar and a cool little jet ski.
Unfortunately, the boat doesn't float (Lego says this right on the box). I would give it 5 stars if it did.
Still very cool.
Enjoy!
Who doesn't love LEGO?
I've been playing with LEGO for almost 40 years. I've moved onto the Ultimate Collectors Star Wars sets, but my 8 and 5 year-old daughters wanted LEGO for themselves. They *LOVE* these "Friends" sets and play for hours on-end. This boat is a fantastic kit - the instructions are clear enough for kids who are not good readers and there are many unique pieces that you won't find in any other LEGO set.
