My Little Pony Exclusive 12Pack Pony Collection Set Includes 6 Special Edition Ponies!

These put "Little" in My Little Pony:) Too cute!!!
My 3 year old got the 4 pack tube (despite the price, oy!) for her birthday. We, of course, lost a couple of them. Well, I saw this 12 pack elsewhere (yes, it is much cheaper at TRU), and got it for her. She is totally absorbed in these little things. She loves reinacting the episodes of MLP: Friendship is Magic with them.

As stated, there are 12 total ponies. There are the 6 main characters~ Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack and Pinkie Pie. The 6 bonus ponies are named Gardenia Glow, Beachberry, Peachie Pie, Coconut Cream, Skywishes and Sweetsong. There are only 4 molds, apparently, because there is not much variation in pony positions. (Not a problem for kids, but seems to be with MLP: FIM purists.)

These ponies ARE small~ about 1.5 to 2 inches tall. And yes, since these are small, they can get lost easily. My daughter is young, but DOES try to be careful with her ponies. I am a bit anal retentive though, and keep...
Mini ponies
Bought this at TRU for my 3yr old before Christmas around $25. She loves them! As a bonus, she matches the ponies to the cards included in the box. Each card has a picture and a little detail about the personality of the pony. We purchase the ferris wheel & the little carriage to go with these ponies. Big hit!
too much
These come close to being what I'm looking for: animation accurate, modeled (not brush-able) pony figures. However, the lack of original poses for each of the mane 6 is ultimately what prevents me from getting too excited about these (that and the price..geez). While I'm sure the "special edition" ponies may be a nice bonus for some, really Hasbro, all I'm looking for is an animation accurate set of the mane 6. I want six ponies.. not four ponies.. not 12. six ponies that look like the show, modeled, and with their own distinct poses that represent their personalities from the show, because that is how I came to love ponies in the first place, and I would like the toys to evoke that same sucrose-y joy and excitement that the animation does.

Tolerantly yours,

a mildly frustrated brony
