VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels - Train Station Playset

Great Toy, almost 5 stars.
I bought this for my son who is a young 2. He's a very busy little boy and gets bored easily of most toys. This set was easy to assemble, seems pretty durable, and is really cute. My son engaged in it quickly and has played with this toy longer than I've ever seen him play with any of his others.
As another reviewer wrote, there is a hill that requires you to hand crank - my son picked up on this pretty quickly and it has added that much more interest to his play. The way the the track configures you can choose to send the train up the hill or under the tunnel, so if your child can't hand crank yet, don't worry they can still use this toy and have time to grow into it.
My son loves that the train moves on it's own, it's different than the other push trains he has. He does at times try to push it, it's held up so far, but I hope this doesn't break it. The other Go Go Smart Wheels sets can attach to this set, and there are lots of different ways to assemble for lots of...
Perfect first train!!
I think my 2-year-old had the most fun with the Vtech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Train Station. Where my 5-year-old was all about building the track and putting it together, my 2-year-old wanted to watch the train go around the track. She like watching the lights and listening to the train talk. She loved to help the train up the hill. She sat forever watching it go around and around and then helped it up the hill. She like to make the gates go up and down. When the train would hit the gate it would tell her to lift the gate and that is what she did.
Of course the baby loved the track, but he is still a bit young for it. He like taking it apart and putting the track right into his mouth. The track parts are nice and big and built well enough that I wasn't worried about him playing with his older siblings. We just made sure to keep the train away from him since it had smaller wheels. The buttons are nice and large. The kids loved to listen to the clock tower. I kinda wish I had a mute...
Not a One and Done, This Will Be Played With A Lot!
We received this train set a few weeks ago. I have a 3 year old daughter, and I wasn't sure if she would enjoy it or not. Fortunately she does ALOT! If you have kids you know there are some toys you buy that you think they'll just love and play with it for a long time, but most of the time it doesn't happen that way? Well, that's been my experience with all of my kids. Anyway, this train set provides so many different ways for the child to interact and learn that it keeps my daughter busy with it for long periods of time...at a time. There hasn't been one morning since we got this that she doesn't ask to get her train set out.

The pieces are big and easy for her to snap together on her own, as they kind of fit like a jigsaw puzzle. There is a paper that comes with this that shows 5 or 6 different ways to put the train set together form more simple to more complex. Even on mornings that she is too impatient to wait for me or her Daddy to help her put it together, she...
